Night train to Tumpat

November 17, 2017
23:10. arrived at Gemas, 170km away from KL.
There's a parking lot, seems free of charge, I hope.
I'm going to east side of Malaysia by night train, for taking the train. The train and the line itself, so called jungle line, are somewhat gripping than the destination. There is no longer night train from KL that's why I had to drive Myvi (lovely Malaysian vehicle) about 3hours after work. Inside the station there are bunch of junior students apparently who will get on the same train. Where do they go? The waiting room is quite busy cause the gate to platform only opens when trains arrive.
I forgot to buy something to eat. I might starve if this train doesn't stop on somewhere I can grab meal. Don't worry be hungry.

Tumpat. I thought carelessly there is a taxi around the station considering Tumpat is the last station of this line. But no taxi there even when the train arrived. I was advised to walk to a bus station. Following the advice, I got a bus-stop-like space but It was difficult to tell if this is still bus station or not. Luckily an old guy who killed time spoke me and gave me a ride to Kota Bahru for 20RM.
I tried Nasi Uram and Nasi Kerabu. I can't get enough of the food such new for me. Then I stayed in a market a bit longer and I missed the train home. Why so accurate, you were delayed for 30 minutes yesterday.
Day trip end.
